Why iOS Safari is a separate product

Safari on iPhone and iPad does not use Mac extension sideloading. Bullseye ships as an App Store (or signed) app that registers a Safari Web Extension — then you turn it on under iOS Settings and grant website permissions.

What you get

Install and block without creating an account. Free covers core ads, trackers, malware rules, and video ad blocking. Pro is optional for lists, Insights, and multi-device sync.

Not available yet — these steps show what install will look like when this platform ships. Chrome is ready today.

How to install on iPhone & iPad

  1. 1 Install Adblock Bullseye from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
  2. 2 Open the app once so Safari can register the extension
  3. 3 Go to Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions (or Safari → Extensions)
  4. 4 Turn on Adblock Bullseye and set permission to All Websites (or ask per site)

After install, open Settings → Safari → Extensions, enable Adblock Bullseye, and grant page permissions. Content blockers stay off until you turn them on.

Requirements

  • iOS or iPadOS with Safari Extensions enabled for third-party apps
  • A signed Apple distribution (App Store or Apple Developer signed build)
  • You must enable the extension in Settings after installing — installing alone is not enough
  • Grant website access (All Websites or per site) for blocking to apply

Privacy on iOS

Blocking runs on your device. We do not sell browsing history. Optional Pro cloud sync only stores settings and filters you choose to sync — never a log of every page you visit.

Tip

If a site looks broken, reduce website access for Bullseye or pause that site. You can tighten permissions again when you are done.
