Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Adblock Bullseye (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a Retaira Company (Business ID 3483702-8, Vaaksakatu 2B, 15100 Lahti, Finland), handles information when you use our browser extension (Chrome available now; other browsers Coming Soon), website at adbullseye.com, and related account services.

1. Privacy at a glance

Ad blocking happens on your device. We do not sell personal data, we do not run an “acceptable ads” program that shares your browsing with advertisers, and we do not use your browsing history for advertising. Optional account features only collect what is needed to run login, billing, and sync.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the Adblock Bullseye browser extension, the marketing website, account dashboard, and APIs that support authentication, Pro subscriptions, and optional cloud sync. It does not cover third-party websites you visit while browsing.

3. Information processed by the extension

Core blocking runs locally in Chrome. Filter matching, cosmetic hiding, video ad handling, allowlists, custom filters, and local statistics are stored in your browser storage on your device.

Depending on your settings, the extension may process page URLs or hostnames to apply rules, pause blocking, strip tracking parameters, or show site-specific insights. That processing is performed locally unless you enable a sync feature that uploads settings you choose to save to your account.

We do not receive a continuous feed of every site you visit for ad targeting or analytics profiling.

4. Account and website information

If you create an account, we collect information such as email address, password (stored as a secure hash), plan type, authentication tokens, and basic account activity needed for security (for example sign-in and password-reset events).

If you subscribe to Pro, our payment processor (Paddle) processes payment details. We receive subscription status, customer identifiers, and billing metadata needed to deliver Pro. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

If you enable cloud sync or link the extension to your dashboard, we may store settings and aggregate blocking statistics you choose to sync so they can appear across devices and in your account.

5. Website cookies and similar tech

The website may use cookies or local storage for language preference, theme, session authentication, and security. See our Cookie Policy for details.

6. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the extension and website, authenticate users, process subscriptions, sync settings you enable, prevent abuse, comply with law, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.

7. Sharing

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the product (for example hosting, email delivery, and Paddle for payments), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. Providers are allowed to process data only as needed to perform services for us.

8. Retention and security

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and security purposes. Local extension data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

9. Your choices and rights

You can use free blocking without an account. You can change extension settings, clear local data, unlink devices, cancel Pro, or delete your account where available in the dashboard or by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. Children

Adblock Bullseye is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
